In a town known for its southern charm and close-knit community, Grit + Grind Coffee has become more than just a coffee shop—it’s a beacon of perseverance and connection.
Eric + Destiny’s journey began with a vision: to create a space where people could gather, connect, and enjoy exceptional coffee. Inspired by solving a problem for their community they decided to start small, serving coffee from a mobile trailer humbly in Opp, Alabama.
The Start of something.....
SeasonONE
Grit + Grind Coffee began with a spark of determination to solve a problem in our community + a dream brewed over countless late nights. From the moment we opened our window, our mission was clear: to create more than just coffee—we wanted to build community, inspire hustle, and serve every cup with heart.

Our first year was an adventure of early mornings, bold decisions, and a lot of grit. We braved long days with caffeine as our co-pilot, learned to laugh through the chaos, and celebrated small wins.

Every grind, every pour, every conversation reminded us why we started: to be a space where stories are shared, connections are made, and the grind feels worth it.
Season One taught us that building something meaningful takes courage, hard work, and a willingness to get a little messy along the way.

And this? This is just the beginning.
SeasonTWO
This season was all about growth, grit, game-changing moments + a good bit of learn experiences.
What started as one small mobile trailer blossomed into multiple locations across state lines, each one carrying the same heartbeat of hustle and community we started with.

This year, we didn’t just grow—we thrived.
We earned awards that reminded us of why we pour our passion into every cup + forged a groundbreaking partnership with the City of Andalusia to bring our headquarters vision to life.
It was a season of bold steps forward, capped by the incredible honor of sharing our journey with so many new communities.

Through every expansion, every accolade, and every conversation, our purpose stayed the same: to inspire, connect, and fuel the grind for everyone who walks through our doors.
Season Two reminded us that with every leap forward comes the chance to grow stronger—and that the grind, no matter how tough, is always worth it.
SeasonTHREE
Season Three is here, and the momentum hasn’t slowed down.
This year, we’ve stepped onto bigger stages—attending our first trade show, expanding into two new states, and celebrating as many of our franchise owners opened their second and third locations.
Each milestone is a testament to the power of perseverance and the incredible people who make up the Grit + Grind family.

We also officially broke ground on our new headquarters, a project born out of big dreams and even bigger belief.
And as if that wasn’t enough, we launched a podcast to share the stories, struggles, and successes that make this journey so worthwhile.
